Gonstead Chiropractors
Introducing Fulton Chiropractor Dr. Bryce Koelling
After meeting my wife, Zoe, and graduating with my bachelor's degree in Exercise Science from the University of Sioux Falls, in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, we moved to Davenport, Iowa to start chiropractic college at Palmer College of Chiropractic; the birthplace of chiropractic and the 'fountain head' of the chiropractic profession. I started chiropractic college just as chiropractic was celebrating it's 100 year birthday in Davenport.Having completed over 300 hours of postgraduate study in the Gonstead System of Chiropractic, I’ve been entrusted to take care of tiny babies, athletes, and great great grandmothers. In 1999, after interning in Iowa and Nebraska, I moved my family to Fulton to start our practice. We started in a rented office space in downtown Fulton on Nichols Street. In April 2009 we moved to our new state of the art facility in Fulton Commons, in south Fulton. January 2010 Dr. Vaughn Reents joined us as an associate Doctor of Chiropractic.
Our philosophy of care in our office is to give you our "honest opinion and best effort." Our philosophy is one of conservative, specific care in order for your body to reach it's full potential. God created your body to be healthy. You were 'fearfully and wonderfully made' (Psalm 139:13-16) We embrace the understanding that health and healing comes from 'above-down-inside-out.' This means that your creator heals you from the inside out.
In our office we use the Gonstead system of chiropractic. Dr. Gonstead developed a system that proved it's ability to deliver specific chiropractic, so that people could heal quickly and effectively. The Gonstead system is pure chiropractic. Our desire is to take care of as many people as we can, while providing you with the personal experience and promise of personalized attention and care. It's exciting to see people heal and enjoy life when they follow our recommendations.
Our family enjoys time together outside in the country, at the lake, on our bikes, or at the movies. We're involved with the music, drama, and childrens' ministry at our church, Concord Baptist Church in Jefferson City. You may have seen my wife, Zoe, and I sing on TV from time to time in our church's broadcast on channel 25. It's a joy to worship our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, with such a great choir and orchestra each week. Our kids sing and act on stage as well. We co-lead the childrens' choir at church. In the past I've served on the boards for the Kingdom of Callaway Chamber of Commerce and SERVE. I've been a part of the Fulton Kiwanis Club and several other local groups. Our kids attend Kingdom Christian Academy in Fulton, and as parents we are actively involved in the continued direction and development of the school in our community, as well as serving on the school board.
Introducing Fulton Chiropractor Dr. Vaughn Reents
Dr. Reents earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from Bethel University in 1987 and his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Northwestern Health Sciences University in 1995. After five years working with his mentor, a leading Gonstead practitioner, he decided to diversify his skills with an opportunity to work in a multi-disciplinary practice in Manitowoc, Wisconsin.
Dr. Reents often reminds patients that the word “Doctor” is derived from the Latin word “docere” meaning “to teach.” His desire is to not only treat his patients, but teach them to regain physical health and well-being.
Dr. Reents grew up in Shoreview, Minnesota and is the youngest of four siblings. He played golf and soccer at the collegiate level and his interest in golf has afforded him the opportunity to work with and treat PGA professionals and elite athletes.
Dr. Vaughn Reents joined Koelling Family Chiropractic in January 2010.
Both doctors are excited to get to know you and help you with your health goals. Please call the office to schedule your appointment.
